I am so glad to be able to be back in Haiti for these five months working in the place I love with the kids that I adore! I saw most of them today already and it was so good to be able to see them. I was able to have some good conversations with people and went over the proposal that I will be working to bring up to date to submit again for next year.
One of the Sunday school teachers already asked me if I was going to be there Sunday and if we are going to be able to do a few more things. I love coming back and seeing the program up and running all the while. It is a great opportunity for both the children and the teens running it. I am very proud of them!! Thanks to FUMC for helping me get it started!!
Tomorrow I am going back out to Castle Pere to see all the children and hang out with them for the day. I brought my volleyball along this time so I am going out to play some ball with them. Hopefully it doesn't turn into a soccer match right away.
Sorry no pictures yet, I was so excited to be here I totally forgot my camera. Maybe some tomorrow?
The Lord is great and everything happens for a reason. He keeps bringing me back to here about five months out of every year for the past three. Think it's coincidental?
